When inspecting the frame quality of a fully upholstered sofa, always ask the salesperson or maker to open the back cover and inspect the interior. The main frame should use mortise and tenon joints; other parts can be secured with wood screws. Sofas with internal frames entirely nailed together are preferable; otherwise, even if the wooden frame shows no immediate problems, it will inevitably loosen after a short period of use. The frame wood should be solid. Soft woods such as pine (larches, etc.), poplar, and linden are unsuitable for sofa frames; wood with splits, insect damage, rot, or knots exceeding one-third of its cross-section should also be avoided. The wood moisture content should be below 16%. There should be no breaks, missing pieces, or looseness at the joints. After inspecting the interior, inspect the exterior. Place one leg on the seat and then twist the backrest with both hands. If you feel no looseness and hear no creaking sounds, the frame quality is acceptable.

The design of a relaxed-fit sofa only features a moderate amount of relaxation in the parts that come into contact with the body, such as the seat, backrest, and armrests. This is to accommodate softer fillings, allowing you to sink in and bounce back easily, preventing sagging even after years of use. Therefore, if you see relaxation in the sofa's base, sides, or back, or even discrepancies in seams and corners, it's generally a quality issue.

Custom Furniture: In foreign countries, custom furniture is a well-established niche service. In China, it's still in its early stages, but many workshops claim to offer custom furniture services, seemingly capable of making any furniture you specify. However, true custom furniture doesn't do everything. For quality, it often involves specific styles and materials/paint colors to choose from. Each style is supported by carefully considered dimensions and craftsmanship. Beyond the available styles, it involves more personalized tailoring and incorporates more design elements. Realizing custom furniture requires not only many special materials, even those uncommon in the general market, but also a team of highly skilled craftsmen specializing in different processing techniques working together. Moreover, the initial intention of custom furniture is to seek individuality, not to save money.

Leather and Fabric Combination Sofas
Leather and fabric combination sofas are not simply fabric sofas with leather backrests. Rather, they fully showcase the beauty of combining leather and fabric in every aspect of the sofa, representing a special sofa upholstery technique. Because a single leather and fabric combination sofa involves 12 types of leather and 24 types of fabric, and the fabrics are often thick materials such as imitation leather, velvet, and wool, the design of a leather and fabric combination sofa is already fixed.

The Formation of Wood Color
If you were shown the natural color of wood, you might be disappointed, as those pale or dull natural colors make it hard to imagine that all wooden furniture comes from them. However, surface treatments of wood provide various coloring and varnishing effects, allowing a limited number of wood species to present different colors and lusters. Luxurious wood surfaces are generally sealed with a varnish, sealing the wood's "pores," and the luster varies in several levels; modern wood surfaces are generally open, allowing you to clearly see the wood's "pores." In addition, different coloring techniques and color control reflect the technology of each factory. Taking oak veneer as an example, oak veneer is generally only made with openings. Light oak, coffee oak, and black oak are the most common colors. However, lavender oak has a purplish tint, and gray oak has a yellowish-green tint. These special colors are developed through repeated coloring tests.
